This skincare mask helps minimize blackheads, oily skin, and blemishes. Most face masks are made by nearly all beauty and skincare brands. However, they inevitably contain chemicals that can harm your skin and create more problems.
The lemon and baking soda mask is as simple as it seems. All you need is lemon juice and baking soda.
1. To make the face mask, mix one tablespoon of lemon juice with two tablespoons of baking soda. The baking soda reacts with the lemon juice and bubbles up. But continue mixing until you obtain a pale yellow paste.

To make the face mask with honey, add one tablespoon of raw, organic honey to the same amount of baking soda and lemon juice. Honey is a very good natural antibacterial substance that helps destroy the bad bacteria living in your skin pores. It also soothes and hydrates the skin.
1. Baking soda has a slightly grainy texture, which, when rubbed on the face, helps with exfoliation, as the small granules scrub away the outer layer of old skin cells.
2. It prevents the accumulation of dirt and oil in the pores and, therefore, reduces the risk of acne. It also evens out and brightens the skin tone.
3. Lemon juice, rich in citric acid and vitamin C, removes oil from the skin and cleanses the face. It also kills bacteria and reduces the risk of infection.
Thus, together, lemon and baking soda make a wonderful facial treatment that surpasses salon treatments.
