Beer yeast is an excellent revitalizer and, when consumed regularly, helps to delay the aging process.
It should not be consumed as is, in its raw state, but in the form of extracts where the yeast is inactivated.
Unfortunately, such products (which are very healthy and widely consumed in the West) are not commonly found on the Romanian market. Preparing yeast in the form of an extract means inactivating it. Yeast should not be consumed raw, as it takes from what the body already has instead of providing something healthy (yeast is very resistant to acids and does not die immediately). The same thing happens, for example, with pasteurized milk at low temperatures: instead of providing calcium to the body, it takes from what already exists, as explained by nutrition expert Gheorghe Mencinicopschi.
However, there are also vitamin complexes available on the Romanian market—especially in pharmacies—that contain beer yeast. The forms in which this product can be manufactured are very diverse: from granules and powder that can be added to any food you consume, to tablets or capsules that can be taken as is.
