Most of the time, when we eat olives, we tend to throw away the seeds, considering them useless. What you might not know is that olive seeds are a true natural medicine.
Olive seeds help regulate intestinal transit, benefiting the stomach and colon. They are also used in a treatment that helps bring blood sugar levels back to normal.
With olive seed tea, a patient was cured of diabetes!
Here’s how to prepare and administer olive seed tea:
1. Take 200 healthy and beautiful olive seeds (avoid the black ones like coal) and let them dry on a shelf in a place free from moisture. Keep them this way for 2-3 weeks.
2. Then, crush the dried seeds in a mortar and grind them with a pestle until they turn into a fine powder, which you store in an airtight glass jar in a dark place.
3. Every morning, boil 250 ml of water and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Remove the container from the heat, and add 1 tablespoon of the olive seed powder to the hot water.
4. Drink the tea in small sips on an empty stomach until 12:00 PM. During this time, also take 1 tablespoon of cold-pressed olive oil.
5. The olive seed tea treatment should be taken daily until the powder is exhausted, after which it can be repeated every 4 to 6 months.
This treatment regulates blood sugar, triglyceride, and cholesterol levels and strongly detoxifies the body.
Good to know! There are 2 types of diabetes:
Type I (insulin-dependent) accounts for 15-20% of cases and is the form of diabetes in which the pancreatic cells that secrete insulin are destroyed; therefore, patients must be administered insulin, otherwise, a diabetic coma can occur.
Type II (non-insulin-dependent) is the most common (80-85% of cases) and usually appears at the age of 40-50 years.
