Doctor Virgiliu Stroescu, known both as an endocrinologist and a nutritionist, has confessed that he leads a healthy lifestyle. Invited on Adina Alberts’ podcast, the 77-year-old specialist shared how many times he eats a day and what his menu consists of.
Breakfast: A healthy start
In the morning, the doctor recommends consuming cereals, especially oatmeal. His menu also includes:
- Whole grain bread
- Soy
What he completely avoids
Dr. Stroescu does not consume dairy products of animal origin due to the coagulation of casein. Casein is the most allergenic protein for our body, the doctor emphasizes. Instead, he prefers:
- Soy cheese
- Tofu
The WONDER food in his diet
Doctor Virgiliu Stroescu recommends the daily use of carob, a powder from the carob tree considered much healthier than cocoa. Carob has remarkable vitamins and is ten times healthier than cocoa.
Additionally, he recommends a healthy preparation: a mixture of 100 grams of seeds and 900 grams of water, considered a delicious and nutritious smoothie.
Lunch: A nutrient-rich meal
For lunch, the famous nutritionist opts for:
- Fresh salads
- Vegetables
- Legumes
After that, it wouldn’t hurt to have a vegetable soup!
Dinner: The golden rule
In the evening, Virgiliu Stroescu prefers to eat as little as possible to ensure a restful sleep and easy digestion.
By following these principles, the doctor manages to stay in shape and maintain his energy even at 77 years old!
