What foods do nutritionists recommend to eliminate abdominal fat and lower blood sugar

Foods that help you get rid of belly fat. While there are no magic foods that reduce abdominal fat, a study cited by WebMD showed that a diet rich in whole grains leads to a decrease in excess fat around the waist.
Volunteers who consumed whole grains, along with lean meats, vegetables, and fruits, lost more weight in the abdominal area than another group that consumed refined grains.

A diet rich in whole grains, whether bread or whole grain pasta, helps the body utilize glucose more efficiently, lowering blood sugar and fat deposits. In contrast, refined foods (such as white bread) cause a rapid spike in blood sugar, facilitating fat storage, explains nutritionist Corina Zugravu.
It has also been shown that individuals who adopt a diet rich in monounsaturated fats lose abdominal fat more easily. Such foods include: avocados, nuts, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, olives, soy, dark chocolate, and olive and canola oil.
Traditional exercises, such as classic crunches, have no effect on abdominal fat. Cardio exercises are much more suitable in this regard. Jogging, aerobics, or brisk walking can help slim the waist more effectively.
If neither diets nor physical exercises melt away the belly fat, liposuction may be a solution; however, after this procedure, if not controlled, fat tends to accumulate in other areas, the nutritionist adds.

Other tips for reducing abdominal fat
Lean proteins: Consuming lean proteins, such as chicken, turkey, fish, eggs, and legumes, can help maintain a feeling of fullness and stimulate metabolism. This can aid in reducing caloric intake and losing body fat.
Foods rich in protein and fiber: Combining foods rich in protein and fiber, such as vegetables and beans or chicken breast and broccoli, can be beneficial for weight management.
Probiotic foods: Consuming foods rich in probiotics, such as yogurt or kefir, can support digestive health and positively impact the composition of the gut microbiome, which can influence weight loss.
Portion control: Reducing portion sizes and being mindful of eating can help avoid excess calories and promote weight loss.
Avoiding sugar and refined carbohydrates: Excessive consumption of sugar and refined carbohydrates can contribute to the accumulation of abdominal fat. Replacing them with healthy sources of carbohydrates, such as vegetables and whole grains, can help.
