Blueberry Juice Important Benefits + Recipe

Ingredients:
1 can of blueberries (approximately 150 grams)
1/4 lemon
1 pomegranate
Preparation Method:
Remove the seeds from the pomegranate and add them to a blender along with the blueberries and the quarter of lemon. Blend until smooth.
Ingredients:
1 kg blueberries
300-500 grams granulated sugar (preferably 300 grams or less)
500 ml water
1 packet of vanilla sugar.
Preparation Method:
Remove the leaves and stems from the blueberries, wash them in several stages, place them in a pot with water, and let them boil. When the fruits start to burst, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool. The boiled fruits are strained through a fine sieve, and the obtained juice, after the pulp has released all its liquid, is left to clarify until the next day. The decanted juice is boiled with the sugar over low heat. Add the vanilla sugar and boil for a quarter of an hour. Strain, pour into bottles, and seal the bottles with cellophane. Store in a cool place.
Benefits of Blueberry Juice
The health benefits of blueberry juice include supporting urinary tract health, alleviating respiratory disorders, kidney stones, preventing and controlling cancer and heart diseases. It is also beneficial in preventing stomach disorders and diabetes (first recipe, without sugar), as well as gum diseases caused by dental plaque.
Blueberry juice is rich in antioxidants, vitamin C, and salicylic acid. Containing only 45 calories per can, blueberry juice fits well into a weight loss diet (without sugar).
Regarding minerals, blueberry juice contains calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, and zinc. It also contains vitamins such as thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, E, and K.
Treatment of Urinary Tract Infections
Urinary tract infections refer to microorganisms in the urine that exceed normal levels. These infections can develop in the bladder and cause cystitis. Blueberry juice contains proanthocyanidins that have properties preventing bacteria from binding to the cells lining the bladder walls. These compounds inhibit bacterial multiplication and promote their elimination from the body through urination. Research shows that regularly drinking blueberry juice can help prevent urinary infections.
Anti-Tumor Effects
The anti-tumor efficacy provided by blueberry juice is attributed to the presence of polyphenolic compounds in the fruit. Studies show that these inhibit the development and spread of lung, breast, colon, prostate, and other cancerous tumors. Blueberry juice contains a high amount of salicylic acid, which can help reduce inflammation, prevent blood clot formation, and eliminate tumors.
Improves Cardiovascular Health
Blueberry juice helps reduce the risk of heart disease and can support cardiovascular health. The flavonoids present in the juice have antioxidant properties and can reduce the risk of atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis is a condition in which the arteries are narrowed due to the accumulation of fats, calcium, and cholesterol in the blood. This impedes the flow of oxygen-rich blood to various parts of the body and can lead to potentially fatal outcomes, such as heart attacks and strokes.

Prevents Tooth Decay
The chemical compounds present in blueberries inhibit harmful bacteria in the oral cavity. These components inhibit acid production and protect teeth from periodontal disease by preventing plaque buildup. Good oral hygiene, along with the consumption of blueberries, disrupts the pathogenic mechanism of dental caries and promotes better health. At the same time, care should be taken regarding the high sugar content and acidity of some commercially available blueberry juices—natural juice is always better!
Prevents Respiratory Infections
According to studies, blueberry juice fights against the flu, which is a common cause of ear infections and respiratory tract infections. Fresh juice is effective in combating infections.
Alleviates Sore Throat and Colds.
Anti-Cancer
Blueberry juice contains proanthocyanidins, which inhibit the growth of various cancer cells. Studies have shown that diets rich in flavonoids play a fundamental role in reducing cancer risk. It contains anti-cancer components that interfere with the growth of cancer cells.
Strengthens Bones and Teeth
Although blueberry juice is a natural source of calcium, many juice producers add extra calcium. Whether natural or not, calcium reduces the risk of developing osteoporosis.
Good for Weight Loss
Blueberry juice is rich in organic fatty acids, which have an emulsifying effect on fat deposits in the body. Therefore, it is beneficial for those looking to shed extra pounds.
Prevents Kidney Stones
The high amount of acidic components in blueberry juice prevents the formation of kidney stones.
Treatment of Lung Inflammation
The anti-inflammatory effects of this juice have been shown to be effective against inflammation in the lungs caused by the flu virus.
Anti-Aging Benefits
Scientists suggest that the wealth of phytonutrients and antioxidants in blueberry juice plays a vital role in providing protection against problems that develop with age, such as memory loss and lack of coordination. It has numerous therapeutic properties that protect cells from damage caused by unstable molecules, known as free radicals, which contribute to
accelerated aging.
