Get Rid of Cough with BUTTER! The Natural Remedy Recommended by Lidia Fecioru

Lidia Fecioru, known for her health advice based on natural remedies, recommends an effective remedy for cough using butter during the cold season. This treatment can help soothe the cough and hydrate the respiratory tract, being a natural option that does not involve chemical medications.
Take a piece of butter the size of a tablespoon. Cut the butter into three smaller pieces. Suck each piece directly, without letting it melt in your mouth and without chewing or dipping it in water, said Lidia Fecioru.

Another Natural Remedy with Butter for Cough

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of natural butter (ideally homemade, but regular butter can also be used)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey (for an additional soothing effect)
  • 1/2 tablespoon of turmeric (optional, but with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial benefits)

Preparation and Consumption Method:

Put the butter in a spoon and gently heat it until it melts. It does not need to be boiled, just completely melted.

Once the butter has melted, add the honey and, if desired, turmeric. Mix well to obtain a homogeneous paste.

Then consume this mixture directly every evening before bedtime to soothe the cough and help relax the respiratory tract. It can also be consumed in the morning to help alleviate cough symptoms during the day.

Other Recommendations for Cough

Along with this butter remedy, here are some other measures to support respiratory health:

  • Drink plenty of fluids, such as warm herbal teas (for example, chamomile, ginger, or linden tea), to soothe the irritated throat and ease expectoration.
  • Inhaling steam from hot water with a few drops of eucalyptus or mint essential oil can help open the airways.
  • Use a humidifier to keep the air moist in the house, especially during the cold season when the air can be extremely dry.
