Grapes are very popular among autumn fruits. Rich in antioxidants (phenolic acids, anthocyanins, proanthocyanidins), vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, C, PP), and minerals (potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium, silicon, manganese), they can bring significant health benefits.
They have an energy value comparable to that of other nutritious foods, such as beef, milk, potatoes, cherries, apples, and bread.
GRAPES PROPERTIES
In vitro and in vivo studies have shown that their therapeutic effects are mainly due to the content of antioxidant compounds. These provide increased protection against the most dangerous diseases.
The most important antioxidant in black and dark red grapes is resveratrol. It has demonstrated antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, cardioprotective, neuroprotective, anti-proliferative, chemopreventive, anti-angiogenic, and anti-inflammatory activities.
GRAPES THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Herbalists recommend grapes for numerous ailments and common health issues. Firstly, they have remineralizing and energizing effects, being beneficial for the nervous and muscular systems.
Consuming grapes combats the accumulation of toxins, stimulates and decongests the liver, and has diuretic and laxative effects.
Epidemiological studies have associated grape consumption with a lower risk of chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases and certain types of cancer.

CLEANSE WITH GRAPES
During the grape season, a cleanse with fresh fruits can be done for 3-4 weeks. Consume 1-2 kg of grapes each day. This amount should be divided into three equal portions. Each portion should be consumed one hour before the main meal.
The fruits should be washed well, possibly with baking soda, to remove pesticides.
Overweight individuals can consume only grapes for 2 days out of 10. Start with a small amount, such as one grape before each meal.
After 2-3 days, gradually increase the amount until reaching 3 kg per day. Then, gradually introduce normal foods.
Do not exceed this amount of grapes to avoid affecting liver function.
