Two oils can be made at home using the technique of maceration through infusion:
Rosemary Oil
Rosemary supports the nervous, circulatory, and respiratory systems, promotes healthy digestion, and supports the function of internal organs. It has been used since ancient times by healers to treat various ailments.
Rosemary was considered sacred in ancient cultures: Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and Jewish. The herbaceous and energizing scent of rosemary is frequently used in massage and aromatherapy.
Ingredients for approximately 150ml of rosemary oil:
- 4 sprigs of fresh or dried rosemary
- high-quality olive oil: 150 ml
External Use of Rosemary Oil:

Nettle Oil
Nettle oil obtained through infusion (cold maceration with the plant) is primarily known as a treatment for stimulating hair growth, but it has a wide range of uses.
Ingredients for approximately 150ml of nettle oil:
- a handful of fresh nettles
- high-quality olive oil: 150 ml
Consumption of Nettle Oil
Nettle oil can be applied externally directly on the skin, used for massage for relaxation, anti-inflammatory massage, for rheumatism, used in poultices, used as a hair or skin mask, and can be consumed, ideally on an empty stomach, 30 minutes before meals.
External Use of Nettle Oil:
- hair tonic, revitalizes the scalp and hair;
- helps against hair loss and dandruff;
- anti-rheumatic;
- anti-inflammatory;
- dermatitis;
Internal Use of Nettle Oil:
- digestion;
- hepatic drainage;
- good for the gallbladder;
- good for pancreatitis;
- good for throat pain.
Remedy for Healthy Hair
These rosemary and nettle oils are ideal for treating hair and scalp conditions. It is recommended to massage the scalp and apply the oil for 30 minutes. For maximum results, they can be used alternately, one week rosemary oil, one week nettle oil.
