Karma can intervene in unexpected ways to restore balance in life. This compilation brings together 12 extraordinary stories about people who received their well-deserved rewards. These events demonstrate the power of karma, with surprising twists and well-timed comebacks.
Story 1
I proposed to my girlfriend, Ioana, during a family gathering. When she saw the ring, she frowned and exclaimed loudly, “Is this all I’m worth to you?” I was 21 and couldn’t afford more. I never saw her again. I deleted her from all my social media.
Two weeks later, her father called me crying. His voice trembled. I froze when he said, “Son, we need your help! Please, come see Ioana!”
Before I could respond, he added, “After you broke up, she fell into a deep depression and got involved with a much older man. Now she wants to marry him! He is 18 years older. You are the only one who can stop her from making this reckless decision.”
I hung up. I had moved on with my life and realized I was much better off without her. Her father had always looked down on me, as if I were inferior. Now, it felt like pure karma.
Story 2
Between the ages of 17 and 20, I dated, went out, and had relationships with three girls who were already seriously involved with someone else.
After I got married and had my first child, my wife cheated on me with three different men — the last one being the one she is with now. They are expecting her second child, which I wanted us to have together.
Story 4
Once, I went to a museum/exhibition, and my mother and I went to get some food. I went ahead to grab a table while my mother went to the food stand. I sat down, and a man approached and tried to take the chair next to me.
I told him, “Someone is sitting there,” but he didn’t listen and took it anyway. I was too young to do anything. Then I saw him sit down with his tray of food. The moment he sat down, the chair started to break, and all the food spilled over him.
Story 5
During my lunch break at work, I rushed to a store that had the daily special. That day, it was spaghetti.
I went in, headed to the back to grab a drink, and made my way to the food line. An older woman saw me, and when I got closer, she shoved me with her shoulder to cut in front of me.
She took two servings of spaghetti in styrofoam trays. On her way to the door, she ran into someone she knew and started talking. I paid for my food and left.
As I was heading to my truck, I heard a loud “OOOOOF.” I turned around and saw the woman had dropped her tray, and the spaghetti with red sauce covered her white shirt.
Story 7
I was very hungry. I opened the office fridge and saw a delicious sandwich — turkey, avocado, crispy bacon — much better than my plain peanut butter and jelly. I looked around. No one was watching me. I took it, ate it to the last crumb, and threw away the wrapper.
The next day, I brought my own sandwich, the same peanut butter and jelly. I took a big bite and felt my mouth catch fire. My throat burned. I rushed to the sink and drank water desperately.
Then I saw a note stuck in the fridge: “For the person who stole my lunch, I added something special to yours today. Enjoy. :)”
Story 9
I worked at a pizzeria. A woman came in furious, slammed a pizza on the counter, and said, “This is not the pizza I ordered. What are you going to do about it?”
I looked at the pizza, then at my colleague, and said, “Nothing.” She started yelling, saying we would be fired, that we were stupid and incompetent, then asked why we weren’t doing anything.
I replied, “Because this pizza is from the pizzeria across the street.” She seemed to shrink in embarrassment. I laughed so hard I cried.
Story 11
I was 16 years old, in 11th grade. During English class, I got into an argument with a classmate. The discussion heated up, and I said to him, “I hope you get into a car accident.”
That same evening, I was driving with my aunt and had an accident — with a parked car. Now that’s karma.
Story 12
I was in the passing lane on the highway, slowly approaching a few cars in the right lane. The speed limit was about to drop, and another car came speeding up behind me. Instead of accelerating to pass the others, I slowed down and tucked in behind them, letting the rushing car pass me.
The driver honked as he passed, and the passenger leaned halfway out the window, yelling.
Only the car I tucked in behind was an undercover police officer, who immediately pulled them over. Justice.
