Moisturizing Cream for Cracked Heels Made at Home with Natural Ingredients: Recipe and Usage

When the skin on the heels thickens or dries out, it can eventually crack.
These cracks are unsightly and can even lead to severe forms that may cause bleeding. If you want to get rid of this discomfort, turn to natural products.
In the following, we will present a cream that will hydrate the skin on your heels, leaving them soft and smooth.
Ingredients:
1 cup of honey,
1-2 tablespoons of milk,
juice from half an orange.
Preparation method:
Warm the honey slightly so that it flows more easily. Do the same with the milk, and then mix them well. Add the orange juice and mix again. That’s all there is to it!
Before applying it to your heels, it is recommended to remove dead skin with a pumice stone. This way, the cream will penetrate the skin more quickly and act deeply.
The action time is 45 minutes. Afterwards, you can rinse with warm water. This procedure can be repeated twice a week.

If you have very cracked heels, you can apply this cream in the evening before bed, letting it dry and removing it the next day.
The cream can last in the refrigerator for up to a month.
How do the ingredients in this cream help us?
Honey is a powerful humectant, which means that when applied to dry heels, it helps the skin absorb moisture from within.
Honey also has strong antiseptic properties, preventing infections that may occur due to deep cracks.
Milk is rich in vitamin A, which is essential for skin health, as it helps repair and regenerate it. In this case, it also thins the honey, making the cream easier to apply.
Orange juice is abundant in vitamin C, which plays a role in stimulating collagen production. Collagen is the substance that gives skin elasticity and suppleness, and its production decreases with age. The skin on the heels also needs elasticity to prevent cracking easily.
