Parsley and Lemon Remedy for Swollen Feet: Recipe and Consumption

Swollen feet, especially towards the end of the day, can signal water retention, poor circulation, or a diet high in salt. A simple and effective natural remedy used by generations combines two key ingredients: parsley and lemon. This plant duo has diuretic, anti-inflammatory, and revitalizing effects on the body.


Recipe with Parsley and Lemon

Ingredients:

  • 1 large bunch of fresh parsley (approx. 25 g)
  • 500 ml of still water
  • juice from 1 lemon (or to taste)
  • optional: 1 tablespoon of honey (for taste)

Preparation method:

  1. Boil the water and, once it reaches a boil, turn off the heat.
  2. Add the finely chopped parsley to the hot water and cover the pot.
  3. Let it steep for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Strain and add the freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  5. Consume warm or at room temperature.

How to Consume

  • Drink 1 cup in the morning on an empty stomach and, optionally, another one in the afternoon.
  • The treatment lasts 5-7 days, followed by a break of a few days.
  • It can be repeated as needed, but no more than 2 treatments per month without medical advice.
