Pumpkin honey is a highly recommended natural remedy for the health of the liver, heart, and lungs.
Rich in nutrients, pumpkin is also used in traditional medicine due to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, anticancer, antihelminthic, anti-aging, laxative, and antiparasitic properties.
In addition to being rich in vitamins and minerals, it is relatively low in calories and contains 94% water. It is also very high in beta-carotene, a carotenoid that the body converts into vitamin A. It is an excellent source of essential fatty acids Omega 3 and Omega 6.
It is known that honey greatly aids in the regeneration of liver cells, but pumpkin honey is beneficial for liver health due to its content of B vitamins and unsaturated fatty acids.
Ingredients:
2 kg of the most natural honey,
1 pumpkin.
Preparation:
1. We will wash the pumpkin well, then cut a lid in the area of the stem, which we will set aside.
2. Using a wooden spoon, we will scoop out the inside of the pumpkin, removing the seeds, after which we will pour in the honey, being careful not to fill it to the brim (leave 2-3 fingers free).
3. We put the lid back on and secure it with tape to prevent air from entering, as it can alter the honey.
4. We place the pumpkin in a basin and let it macerate for 10 days at room temperature in a dark place. During this time, the pumpkin will release juice, which we will collect in a jar.
5. After 10 days, we will peel the pumpkin, and what remains, namely the pulp and honey, will be blended together, adding the collected juice.
We will obtain pumpkin honey, which we will store in jars kept in a cool place.
Administration Method:
Consume 1 tablespoon of honey twice a day, 30 minutes before breakfast and dinner. The treatment will last for one month, and thus we will address cardiovascular, liver, and even pulmonary edema issues.
