One of the oldest and most effective recipes used during wars was the combination of onion and vinegar – a natural antibiotic passed down from generation to generation. Ingredients and Preparation Method

1 large white or red onion
200 ml natural apple cider vinegar (or unheated, unfiltered white wine vinegar)

  1. Peel the onion, wash it, and chop it finely (or grate it).
  2. Place it in a glass jar and pour the vinegar over it.
  3. Seal it tightly and let it macerate for 24 hours at room temperature, in a dark place.
  4. After this period, strain the liquid and store it in a sealed bottle in the refrigerator.

How to Use

Take as needed, in courses of up to 7 days. It can be used preventively during the cold season or during viral outbreaks.
