Sodium bicarbonate is a simple and effective natural remedy that has been used for a long time to combat heartburn, gastric reflux, and indigestion. Easy to obtain, inexpensive, and quick-acting, this alkaline compound neutralizes excess gastric acid, providing rapid relief. How Does Sodium Bicarbonate Work in the Stomach?
