Orange peel contains vitamins B, P, E, K, carotene, and calcium, most of which are concentrated in the rind. It also contains more than 60 types of flavonoids and over 170 different types of phytonutrients. It is rich in pectin, vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Its benefits and applications are numerous.
However, be cautious with oranges treated with chemicals! The packaging should indicate what it has been treated with and whether it is safe for human consumption! It is recommended to use organic ones.

Tea: Peel the oranges, cut the peel into small pieces, and then let them dry, preferably in a cool, dry place. Once dried, add the pieces to a cup of boiling water and let the mixture cool for 10-15 minutes. Remove the dried peel pieces and enjoy the infusion!
Maceration of orange peel, ginger, and cinnamon in honey: Place a few strips of orange peel in a glass jar. When peeling the oranges, avoid taking too much of the white membrane. Add 5-6 slices of ginger root and 2 broken cinnamon sticks. Fill the jar with honey and mix. Let everything macerate for 3 weeks, stirring daily in the first few days. At the end of the maceration period, strain the honey. Use a tablespoon in tea or consume it as is.
They can be chewed as is for good oral health.
Caution! Be very careful with chemically treated oranges! Their peel is not recommended for human consumption!
