During the wedding ceremony, something suddenly moved under the bride’s dress

For a few seconds, no one made a sound. The groom, pale-faced, took a step back, unsure whether to laugh or run away. The bride, red as fire, looked down and froze. Then, to everyone’s astonishment, a small black kitten emerged from under the white dress, meowing in fright!

Nervous laughter began to be heard among the guests. An aunt crossed herself and said, “God forbid, a bad omen at a wedding!” But when the kitten curled up in the bride’s arms, all the tension dissipated.

With tears in her eyes, the bride started to laugh: “It’s mine! I found it in the garden this morning and couldn’t bear to leave it alone!” The guests erupted in applause, and the priest, smiling, said: “Well, if even God sent you a little soul to bless you, it’s a good sign!”

The ceremony continued, but everyone was only talking about the incident under the dress. A few ladies were already naming the kitten, while the children crowded around to pet it. The groom, finally relaxed, raised the bride’s hand and joked: “I think we’re going to have a bigger family than we planned!”

After the ceremony, when they arrived at the restaurant, everyone was laughing and recounting the moment like a legend. The waiters brought plates full of food, and the kitten – named “Lucky” on the spot – slept peacefully in a basket next to the newlyweds’ table.

In the evening, when the lights dimmed and the music softened, the bride looked around. Everyone was smiling, dancing, and enjoying themselves. In her heart, she felt that nothing that had happened was by chance. Perhaps it was meant to be – a little chaos that brought more love.

At the end of the evening, the priest came by to wish them well. He petted the kitten and said: “Know that it’s not the sign that matters, but the love. And if today you all laughed and enjoyed together, then your beginning is blessed.”

The bride smiled widely. She looked at the groom, at the people who were applauding her, and said softly: “Yes, I believe this is the most beautiful possible beginning.”

Since then, everyone who attended that wedding remembers not the menu or the music, but the kitten that appeared exactly when their love needed to be blessed. And in their home, somewhere near the frame with the wedding photo, “Lucky” has a special place – because he was the first witness to their promise of eternal love.
