Our skin is our largest detoxifying organ. What we put on our skin matters, as it affects the health of our skin and is absorbed into the body.
This aloe vera face cream recipe does more than double the majority of face creams due to the properties of its ingredients:
coconut oil: a natural antibacterial emollient
lavender essential oil: soothes and nourishes all skin types
jojoba oil: contains essential vitamins and minerals for healthy skin
aloe vera gel: antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and a natural humectant
Ingredients for DIY Aloe Vera Face Cream:
1 cup of aloe vera gel
1/2 cup coconut oil
2 tablespoons jojoba oil
1 1/2 teaspoons beeswax
5 to 8 drops of lavender essential oil

Preparation Method:

1. Add half a cup of coconut oil, two tablespoons of jojoba oil, and one and a half teaspoons of beeswax into a jar.
2. Place a pot filled with about 7 to 10 cm of water on low heat. Put the jar, without a lid, in the pot. Stir until melted, mixing with a whisk.
