The Remedy of Father Arsenie Boca for Eliminating Gallstones, Healing Lung Diseases, and Soothing Coughs

Known as the Saint of Transylvania, Father Arsenie Boca always recommended, alongside prayer, natural treatments using remedies from nature. The effectiveness of these treatments has been proven over time, some even supported by science.
Many times, Father Arsenie Boca recommended ancient remedies (including prayer, fasting, and a clean lifestyle). To a woman with vision problems, he recommended living water or sap that drips from the vine, to be collected in the spring and applied in the mornings, with a dropper, a few drops in the eyes. To another woman with gallstones, he recommended a remedy based on a plant called deer tongue or “nvalnic”.
Before revealing Father Arsenie Boca’s recipe, let’s say a few words about this plant, which is also considered a love remedy.
Deer tongue, popularly known as “nvalnic”, is a variety of fern whose scientific name is Phyllitis scolopendrium. The green part of the plant (the leaves) should always be used and not dried, as otherwise, it loses its properties.
A characteristic of this medicinal herb is that it remains green all year round, so it can be harvested in any season. However, it is most effective during the summer months.

The Healing Recipe of Father Arsenie Boca
Here is what the healing remedy consists of, capable of breaking and eliminating gallstones (biliary lithiasis):
The leaves of deer tongue are crushed and placed, along with orange peels, in a clean cloth, which is tied. This pouch is placed in a pot and boiling water is poured over it. A lid is placed on top and it is left for 5-7 minutes, then the plants are removed from the pot and the liquid is drunk warm, in small sips. This tea should be consumed for 2-3 months, in the morning and evening.
The deer tongue tea gradually crushes the gallstones until they are transformed into sand, which is eliminated much more easily.
Other Benefits of Deer Tongue Tea
Although primarily used for biliary issues, researchers have shown that this plant has a choleretic action, promoting the evacuation of bile into the duodenum. Deer tongue in infusion form has numerous applications for both internal and external use.
Due to its astringent effect, it heals lung diseases, clears the respiratory pathways, aids in expectoration, and soothes coughs.
The infusion of deer tongue also treats cases of acute diarrhea manifested in combination with episodes of fever.
For external use, deer tongue is used for healing wounds and cleansing the scalp of seborrhea.
To make an infusion, use one teaspoon of the plant in 250 ml of water. A maximum of 3 cups per day is recommended. Consuming tea from this plant induces sweating and diuresis.
Those who wish to start a treatment with this plant should consult a doctor beforehand, as deer tongue contains thiaminases, which destroy vitamin B1 in the body.
